Imported Stuff

This same question i asked my father once. The answer given to me was (i dont remember the exact words) that its human tendency to follow the developed, superior and powerful, be it a person or a nation. At pesent USA is the most powerful n so people are attracted towards it. If tomorrow India is in that position its but obvious that others will follow it. There was a time when India was the most developed ,advanced and rich in all fields. Scholar, students, explorers used to come here. They tried learning our culture, our language.But now scenario has changed. I think that it is all up to us to determine which is superior our own culture n land or some other culture. This obsession for foreign products is just because we underestimate our products and we dont value the workers of our country i.e we consider ourselves inferior. Many times things a made or developed on our land only and its sold to our people with foreign tag. We say we want quality which we dont get in indian products. I say it is us who is contributing in detoriation of quality by not buying Indian items. I feel we are no way inferior to any other nation just that our people dont feel the same ways. This feeling if induced in all of us no one can stop us from regaining our lost position.
