The Kargil War, also known as the Kargil conflict which was an armed conflict between India and Pakistan that took place between May and July 1999 in the Kargil district of Kashmir, came to an end on 26th July, 1999. The day has since been marked as Kargil Vijay Diwas (Kargil Victory Day) in India.

We organised a blood donation drive to Commomorate the Supreme Sacrifice of the Kargil Martyrs.

About a dozen people came forward and donated on this day and remembered the Martyrs. There was discussion relating to the events, stories and details of the War and patriotic songs were sung remembering the Heroes.
