Camp 10 @ MSR Pharmacy College

Students wait eagerly for their turn to donate37 life savers walked in to donate blood on the bright morning of Saturday, 28th July, 2007 at M S Ramaiah Pharmacy College.

Eventually we were able to collect 31 units of blood and 6 donors were deferred.

M S Ramaiah Memorial Blood Donation Service had yet another feather in it's cap by the joining in of the Pharmacy College. The co-operation and support of the Principal was commendable.

We must mention here that though there was an undue delay in bringing in the beds to the camp location, the donors waited extremely patiently for their turn to donate. this made life easier the volunteers as things were not rushed towards the end.

The Pro-activity of the donors at the camp was commendable. Three people have already volunteered to help the service in a bigger way.

Here we must mention that even though the teething problems of the service are not yet over, the support by the student community to this endeavour is overwhelming and highly encouraging.

Jai Hind.
