Saluting The Real Heros

Submitted by rajat on

This is about one of the Great son of Mother India. So please take some time from ur busy schedule and read it with a great sense of respect. Then whole India was busy in guessing about who will be the next PM of the country. Will it be Sonia or will it be Manmohan Singh?

This man was fighting his last battle. It's sad that in hype of all the political drama, the news about his Death got lost like a Needle in Grass. Not even the leading newspapers but the so called best news channels of India, which work on 24 X 7 basis, failed to highlight this story of a brave man. Unfortunately It was some where on the middle page of some newspaper. This was the reward for the brave task for which he lost his life.

During the attack on Akshardham temple, at Gandhinagar (Gujarat), on 24th Septmeber 2002, this brave man fought the greatest battle of his life.Yes, he was N.S.G. Commando Late Mr.Surjan Singh, who sacrificed his life for the Nation, on 19th May 2004. He lost the toughest and longest battle against life. Exactly after 600 days being in coma he lost this life. The bullet, which hit him in the head, made him unconscious for almost 600 days. His family members were hoping that one day their Hero will open his eyes but he didn't. It was the longest wait for the family members of this brave man. Besides his family members, only one thing was there with him during these toughest 600 days. It was there near his bed till the last moment. Can you guess what it was? ............... It was the "Tiranga", yes our National Flag, which was waving and saluting him for his great cause. Absolutely no words can suffice our gratitude towards him. So please forward this mail to as many people as you can. This is the only way we can Salute his Bravery.........Jai Hind.

There are people in our land who work unselfishly for our motherland, who do not even hesitate to sacrife their life for our country. And yes ,there are those who find nothing interesting in this country, who find pleasure in transferring the blame of something not working to others. Time has come that we stop shrugging from our responsibilities and take charge. Everyone has an innate potential, that innate goodness. Please come forward , get off your comfort zone and do something which makes your life more meaningful.
