One of the best schools as far as agreeing to give permission to conduct program for Blood Donation Awareness. As soon as the volunteers approached the principal for permission, with a little enquiry regarding the program, the principal was very keen to conduct the awareness program on the same day. It was a real boost for the volunteers and gave us a new leash of energy.
Skit and informative talk: 16th February, 2009 Even with a low number of students available, these students were as much motivated as their principal in the program. They wanted to know every detail regarding blood donation and put forward many questions which made the volunteers go awe hearing them. The response was very wonderful and the level of understanding displayed by the students was amazing.
Competitions: 21st February, 2009 Time - 9:30 to 11:00 A.M
The competitions are the most encouraging and most awaited event for the students. The students had made enough preparation to present their thoughts.
Essay Writing: Number of participants : 10. These participants wrote essays which were short, but very informative and covered the required amount of information in the best possible manner.
Painting: Number of participants: 15 These students had their own type of imagination and did not use any colors to potray their message of Blood Donation. But still were very effective in expressing their thoughts through their drawings.
