Have you donated blood in past 4 months?
It has been a tough road in the past four years. We as a group and I as an individual have spent a lot of time.. real LOT of time.. trying to figure out what can be done to solve the blood shortage problem of our country..
Though we have debated a hundred ways by which we can achieve 100% Voluntary blood donation, but the ground basic remains unchanged. Blood from humans comes only from humans.
You and I the people who are reading this blog, are the people who actually care for some people. We come up and discuss solutions. We want to be a part of the change that makes this country the world leader and restores it's glory. But as the Times people put in in their serach for the leader... "DO" is the word.
If you have not donated blood in past 4 months, the time is ripe to DO. If you are a platelet donor or a rare group donor then probably you can wait for an emergency, but for all others, now is the chance.
In case even one of you goes ahead to donate blood after reading this post of mine.. please come back and put in a comment. You will help those hundreds who today are finding it difficult to break free from the static and join in the movement.
Nothing will change if we do not change. Nothing will improve if we do not contribute. Here is your chance. The golden one! Go ahead and donate blood. Give away a chance to survive to 3 people. Endulge in a selfless act and make your land better.
