Grant Thornton’s Magical CSR Visit

Grant Thornton’s Magical CSR Visit

Some days don’t announce themselves loudly, but still manage to leave behind something warm and lasting.

On 18th April, the team from Grant Thornton visited Sankalp and spent time across our centres, bringing with them openness, curiosity, and a genuine willingness to understand the work and the lives it touches. The conversations went beyond routine introductions, reflecting a sincere effort to connect with the journeys of children who depend on long-term care and support.

For the children, the day carried its own kind of magic. A specially arranged magic show held everyone’s attention, filling the space with laughter, surprise, and wide-eyed wonder. What followed were simple but meaningful moments, games, shared treats, and time spent together that turned an ordinary day into something memorable.

A particularly thoughtful gesture came from the team’s decision to acknowledge and appreciate our housekeeping staff with small gifts. Often working quietly behind the scenes, their role is central to maintaining a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for every child at Sankalp. This recognition meant a great deal and added a deeply human touch to the visit.

We remain grateful to the Grant Thornton team for a day shaped by kindness, presence, and genuine connection. It was a reminder that impact is not only measured in outcomes, but also in the moments people choose to share with one another.
