Partner Spotlight: Deutsche Bank Group Driving Lifesaving Impact

Long-term partnerships are built on consistency, trust, and a shared commitment to impact. Deutsche Bank Group stands as a strong example of this, having supported Sankalp India Foundation’s mission over the years through both blood donation initiatives and meaningful volunteer engagement.

Their journey with us began on 30th May 2008, with their first blood donation camp. Since then, the partnership has steadily grown, resulting in a total of 46 camps and 5,413 units of blood collected. Each unit has played a critical role in supporting children living with thalassemia, for whom regular transfusions are not optional, but essential.

In the past year alone, Deutsche Bank Group organised 6 camps, contributing 375 units of blood. This continued commitment reflects not just participation, but a deep understanding of the ongoing need for safe and reliable blood supply.

Beyond blood donation, their engagement extends into direct human connection. Since the inception of Sankalp’s childcare home in Bangalore, teams from Deutsche Bank Group have been regularly visiting as part of their CSR volunteering efforts. These visits, conducted twice a year, go beyond structured activities. They create space for interaction, conversations, and moments of connection with children undergoing or recovering from treatment.

Such gestures, while simple, carry immense value. They remind children and families that they are supported not just medically, but socially and emotionally as well.

Deutsche Bank Group’s partnership reflects what sustained engagement can achieve when driven by intent and empathy. It is not defined by one-time contributions, but by a continued presence and willingness to show up, year after year.

At Sankalp, we are grateful for this enduring association and the impact it continues to create.
