SHeAL: Advancing Mentorship and Work Excellence

As part of SHeAL’s ongoing commitment to building a strong culture of mentorship and continuous learning, this month marked the successful launch of Batch 3 of the Mentor Development Series. With each new batch, Sankalp India Foundation continues to expand its network of empowered mentors, strengthening support systems across programmes.

Further advancing this momentum, the first session of the SHeAL Soft Skills Series was conducted on the theme “Professional Behaviour and Discipline.” The session was facilitated by Ms. Rashmi from IAF and saw an encouraging response from across the organisation. A total of 88 participants actively engaged in the session, while 47 anonymous pre-session reflection surveys were submitted, offering valuable insights into existing behaviours, perceptions, and workplace practices.

The session laid a strong foundation for reflective learning, encouraging participants to critically examine their own professional conduct and align it with organisational values. Rather than limiting the intervention to a one-time training, SHeAL has taken a step further to ensure long-term impact.

A two-week Community of Practice (CoP) has been established to support participants in translating learning into action. This platform enables individuals to apply key concepts in their day-to-day work, observe behavioural shifts, and reflect on their experiences. By fostering peer learning and accountability, the CoP creates space for sustained growth and continuous improvement.

These efforts are part of a larger vision to nurture a culture of professional excellence, self-awareness, and disciplined practice within Sankalp. Through structured mentorship and targeted capacity-building initiatives, SHeAL continues to invest in people, recognising them as the foundation of meaningful and lasting impact.

Together, we are building a culture where learning is continuous, mentorship is intentional, and excellence is a shared commitment.
