JRD Tata

The full name of J.R.D.Tata is Jehangir Raranji Dadabhai Tata. He is known throughout the world as J.R.D Tata, for short. JRD Tata has been one of the greatest builders and personalities of modern India in the twentieth century.

Get Together on Shaheed Divas.

On the occasion of Shaheed Divas ,23rd March, Volunteers of Sankalp come together to remember and discuss the Great Heroes of India. The Indian Heroes whose contribution has brought in an immense change in our lives.. Hero's which set an example for the future generation. Some of the hero's discussed were Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Swami Vivekananda, Dhyanchand, Vanake Obavva, Khudiram Bose, Keshavrao B Hedgevar, Basavraj, Narayan Murthi and some others. The volunteer felt the discussion to be useful and important and decided to get together again to share their stories.

Second Visit to School...

During his Wonderful first visit to school on Republic Day, Sankalp team interact with the school adminstrator, staff and childrens. During the talk with school staff, sankalp got to know how the school staff are working in a limited resource and trying their best to give the children the best education they can. Inspired by the dedication of staff and efforts by children on Republic Day celebration.

Another small effort towards Mission 2020 and to nurish the feeling of being INDIAN. we visited a small school in Tyagarajan Nagar. A small Goverment school where children and staff try their best to make best of available resource. A school were children celebrate the National Festval with full enthusiasm rather than treating it as National Holiday(as many of us do). We had a great time with childrens, watching their cultural program and talking with them.
