I have been receiving lots of requests in recent times from the various friends we have to do something for the poor.
As is clear we will not be making any long term commitment for real hard work now owing to the priority(Blood Donation) requiring lots of work.
But this does not in any way stop us from doing some small thing for the Children, specially poor and helpless.
So, I thought I will put up a discussion here and if something comes out, It will be executed..

How much we know about our culture?

Time and again we see the people showing disrespect to national symbols.
We see people dropping our Tiranga on roads. We see them not stand for the National Anthem. We see them shy away when someone shouts Vande Mataram.
Recently for Project Shaheed, we published a small booklet that had the images of Martyrs and Vande Mataram on it. The very same day we saw some of them thrown on the foot paths and in corners. Some even walked upon.
What should we do when we confront such a situation?

A highly eccentric event.
Food for the soul.
Power to the mind.
Peace to the spirit.
What should we do this time on 22-23 March?

"He who loves not his country can love nothing" said Byron. Our motherland nurtures us and grooms us into responsible citizens of the world. Every individual, must therefore love his motherland without any expectations and contribute to its well-being.

Can we deucate the poor

The PPT attached is a message from Dr Kalam. It has a deep vision about what can take India into the vision 2020. The Mantra for the youth , it is good food for thought and discussion to sharpen our thinking for a better nation.

What is the true meaning of patriotism. Is it only a slogan? Is it only a wartime frenzy? What does patriotism mean to me?

Whole lot of efforts had gone into working out the nature of the Street play and the candle march. Was it only pomp show and an attempt to catch attention or something more?
