Abraham Lincoln's letter to his son's teacher

He will have to learn, I know, that all men are not just, all men are not true, but teach him also that for every scoundrel there is a hero, that for every selfish politician there is a dedicated leader. Teach him that for every enemy there is a friend.

Hi I am a cricket buff but i really like it when I can appreciate the beauty of the cricketer as well as his art . of all the cricketers I have watched SACHIN TENDULKAR remains my favorite not just for his cricket but also for his persona now this is what I like about him :
1. CONQUERED MT EVEREST NOW AIMING FOR STARS - a person who has rewritten all the records in the cricket book still has the hunger to go n give 100% on the field . How many of us have the same dedication towards our profession or families.

Five lessons..

Five (5) lessons to make you think about the way we treat people. 1 - First Important Lesson - Cleaning Lady. During my second month of college, our professor gave us a pop quiz. I was a conscientious student and had breezed through the questions until I read the last one:
"What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?"
Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen the cleaning woman several times. She was tall,dark-haired and in her 50s, but how would I know her name?

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

There was woman who sells milk, curd, butter and ghee. One day she went into a fort for selling ghee. By the time she come back the fort gate was closed. There was no way to go out. Then she remembers her small child who needs to be feeded. She knows there IS no one else to feed the child and she was very much worried. She planned to break the rules and jump the fort wall using her saree and she crossed the fort successfully and milked the child. Next day she was brought to the court and she admitted her crime and explained the reason behind doing so.

jo bhara nahi hai bhavo se,
bahati jisme rasdhar nahi.
woh nar nahi hai pashu nira,
jisme swadesh ka pyar nahi.

jiski raj mai lout lout ke bade hute,
gutne ke bal sarak sarak ke khade huye.

un malin raho ke prano mai naveen aabha bhar de,
hey jadogar isko gishkar phir se taaza kar de.

rome, misre aadi mit gaye jahan se,
baki hai aab ak namonisha hamara.
kuch baat hai ki hashti mit ti nahi hamari,
sadiyu raha hai dushman baki jahan hamara.

An Inspirational Poem

I came across this brilliant poem by "Ku. Ra. Sitarama Shastri" Translates to: Why do you have a fear in your weak heart that your desires will never be fulfilled? Can't you feel the power of your soul hidden deep in thyself? There is nothing as powerful as your soul, There is nothing as potent as your soul!! True dignity will never fail!! Truth will always win!! Satyameva Jayate!!

Way of Taking Life

Michael is the kind of guy you love to hate. He is always in a good mood and always has something positive to say. When someone would ask him how he was doing, would reply, "If I were any better, I would be twins!" He was a natural motivator. If an employee was having a bad day, Michael was there telling the employee how to look on the positive side of the situation. Seeing this style really made me curious, so one day I went up to Michael and asked him, "I don't get it! You can't be a positive person all of the time.

Revolutionaries like Savarkar created an atmosphere which made it possible for Mahatma Gandhi to succeed. It would be unpatriotic if the people of India failed to give Savarkar a prominent place in the history of India. (M. C. Chagla) The role of the revolutionaries has been either ignored or underplayed. It has been so due to two factors, the British rulers and the Congress leaders. Both had their well-calculated reasons.
