Just for today, I will try to live through this day only, and not tackle my whole life problem at once. I can do something for twelve hours that would appall me if I felt I had to keep it up for a lifetime. Just for today, I will be happy. This assumes to be true what Abraham Lincoln said, that "most folks are as happy as they make up their minds to be." Just for today, I will adjust myself to what is, and not try to adjust everything to my own desires.

At a fundraising dinner for a school that serves learning disabled children, the father of one of the students delivered a speech that would never be forgotten by all who attended. Once a man had a dream. It was a dream about his life but it was in the form of a walk by the sea shore.After the whole walk he had a chance to have a top view of the whole shore. There he noticed 2 sets of footprints,when he asked God about it,He replied that He walked by him all the time.But when the man saw the later part of his life he noticed that at times when he was in trouble there was only one set of footprints.Angered by this he questioned God why He did not be by his side during testing times.
