Several of our kids engage themselves in art and crafts as they undergo the 4-5 weeks hospital stay for their bone marrow transplantation. Meera is a 13-year-old girl who is receiving her bone marrow transplant from a fully matched brother. She came up with a beautiful expression of what transplantation means to her.
A simple, yet so powerful expression, which redoubles our motivation to free many many more kids and watch them fly - high!
