"The 13th Anniversary Program of Sankalp India Foundation was celebrated at Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain Hospital Auditorium on 21 May 2016."
The event was an occasion for everyone involved to get together, review the work done in the last year, plan for the year to come and thank those who made it possible.
The event was attended by our advisory board, our friends from the corporate who support our blood donation drives, our donors who support our programs, our collaborators with whom we work to make things happen, our staff, our friends, our families, and several other well-wishers bringing the whole spectrum of people involved in the Sankalp story together. Often we may have people who have worked closely together(using technology for interaction) for months and yet may not have seen each other. The anniversary program is the one event in the year which brings everyone together .
Last year was no different in the sense that it saw intense activity and growth in each of the projects we chose. There were presentations by the team in-charges to share what has been accomplished and what is the plan for the year ahead.
Optimism was the tone of the day as one after the other several friends came to the stage and expressed their commitment and assurance of tireless participation to the cause we serve.
The day was made complete with the cultural events by our little angels. The gathering was kept spellbound as the little thalassemiacs took to the stage with grace and confidence - to leave everyone mesmerized.
This year on our anniversary, we also organised the meeting of our advisory board. It was the first of it’s kind experience where the board of the organisation shared the roadmap and sought suggestions and guidance from the advisory board.
