This year’s Women’s Day at Sankalp India Foundation was marked by a celebration that was thoughtfully planned and wholeheartedly enjoyed. Across our centres in Bangalore and Ahmedabad, the day unfolded as a refreshing change of pace, where the women of Sankalp were invited to step away from their daily responsibilities and simply be celebrated.
What made the occasion truly special was the effort behind it. The men of Sankalp took the lead in planning the entire event, keeping the details a surprise and ensuring that the afternoon remained light, joyful, and full of warmth.
Held on 28th March at the BMJH Auditorium in Bangalore, and mirrored with equal enthusiasm in Ahmedabad, the celebration brought together colleagues in an atmosphere of ease and camaraderie. Draped in vibrant sarees, the women of Sankalp brought colour and grace to the space, setting the tone for an afternoon that was both relaxed and spirited.
The event was filled with engaging activities and performances, from lively quizzes and music to dance, jokes, and a delightful clapbox performance that had everyone smiling. Laughter flowed easily, conversations felt lighter, and the usual rush of the day made way for shared moments of joy.
Adding to the celebrations were simple pleasures done right, snacks, cake, and the collective energy of a team coming together not for work, but for appreciation.
