Davangere, Bellary and Kolar have had talks relating the drives to be conducted in regular intervals in many colleges this month. Sankalp participated as an observer in a district level meeting of officials to schedule Blood Donation drives in Bellary.

Sankalp Disaster Mitigation and Management Group is back in action.
Mission: Be prepared for any disaster.
Methodology: Training, planning and strategising. Training session every fortnight.
Ideology: Act during the relief phase (first few hours after the disaster). Put in all the strength at one go and to it's best.
The port disaster review after the Karnataka Floods brought out the fact that within our Team the following things were clear
- Many of us were not prepared for worst case scenario
- We will surely want to participate in future disaster relief missions
January, 2010 marks the start of the implementation of the roadmap to get Disaster Sense right into the organisation.

Blood Awareness Program was conducted in 7 schools: Premier convent, Matha english School, Bharat Vidyaniketan, Akai Public School, Kumar English School Cambridge, Bharat Seva Dal.
Disha
- Letters to spread awareness about the helpline in the various hospitals throughout Karnataka has been prepared along with the Publicity materials like stickers and posters. Will be sent to Bellary and Belgaum.
- Report of blood stocks for the last three months has been prepared for individual blood banks and will be sent to them with a letter to thank them for their participation.
- Schedule for hospital visits. will visit around 5 this month.
- A feedback from the people who called for blood request is been taken to know if they got the required unit or faced any other problem so as to improve our service.
- Materials for publicity like videos and posters are being prepared.
Finance Sankalp has now got 80G certificate to provide tax exemption to people who have contributed for the organization.
