My Experience....

Mission Siachen which started long before came to an end from our end. For me working for this project reminded old days when we slogged like anything for SHAHEED BHAGATSINGH and for KOSHISH. yesterday when i came back home i was depressed because i had expected to get more cards filled but i could collect very few from people, almost everyone gave me an excuse why they couldn't get them filled. How can i be depressed being with sankalp volunteers, their actions their talks refilled me with joy.

“Revolution is not free”

This about my experience of Project Siachen. I got to know about this project before its formal start up. I explorer few site and you tube vides to enlighten myself. Same as other I was astonish by the fact that Indian Soldier are working at extreme condition of -50c. I really appreciate this fact but not feeling it as I am feeling it now.

After our visit to the shopping malls last weekend and experiencing a disappointing response, Sankalp volunteers turned to the Educational Institutions to spread out the word about Siachen and provide the young and the enthusiastic children an opportunity to show their gratitude to the soldiers at Siachen.

Form 6 to enroll your to electoral list

You need to fill form 6 and submit it with address proof to add your name to the new electoral list. Please download Form 6 attached, fill it and submit it with one of the address proof in your Assembly Constistuency

Address Proof Documents:
1. Passport
2. Telephone Bill [ Mobile Bill also]
3. Water Bill
4. Electricity Bill
5. Rental Agreement
6. Any identification card issued by the Govt/ Post office
7. Valid Driving License
NOTE: address mentioned in the address proof and the application has to match.

‘Mission Siachen’ by youth

Bangalore: It is a befitting way to tell the soldiers guarding our borders in difficult conditions that we care.

And for that reason Sankalp India Foundation, a voluntary youth organisation have decided to launch “Mission Siachen,” through which messages would be sent to soldiers posted at the Siachen in the eastern Karakoram range of the Himalayas.

Soldiers who always remain faithful to their nation, who are always prepared to sacrifice their lives, are invincible. If you, too, want to be invincible, engrave these three ideals in the innermost core of your hearts"
