love the greatest magic of all

Submitted by anusapraj on
This might probably sound stupid logic but love is the ultimate panacea for all the problems. there is no person not bound by love and i guess loving others starts with loving ourselves.when asked who do you lovethemost i would simply say myself because only when you love yourselves will you be able to think of others happiness. we are not going to carry with us anything to the gravebut for all the love we were shown. we need not be martyrs or saints.

Mission Siachen is continuing this week.

Due to closure MSRIT College after semester completion, volunteers planned to move out to other places in order to reach the target of 4000 hand-made postcards to be sent to Siachen soldiers. The plan of action includes visiting a few schools, colleges (pre-university) and shopping malls. We have yet a long way to go before completion, but we are not going to give up.

Story of 2 pots

Submitted by sarica on

A water bearer in India had two large pots, each hung on each end of a pole which he carried across his neck. One of the pots had a crack in it, and while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water at the end of the long walk from the stream to the master's house, the cracked pot arrived only half full.

Food for the soulFor a full two years this went on daily, with the bearer delivering only one and a half pots full of water in his master's house. Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments, perfect to the end for which it was made. But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it was able to accomplish only half of what it had been made to do.

.A woman came out of her house and saw 3 old men with long white beards sitting in her front yard. She did not recognize them. She said "I don't think I know you, but you must be hungry. Please come in and have something to eat."

"Is the man of the house home?", they asked.

    "No", she said. "He's out."

Then we cannot come in", they replied. In the evening when her husband came home, she told him what had happened. "Go tell them I am home and invite them in!" The woman went out and invited the men in.
