Beauty Tips

Submitted by sarica on
  • For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
  • For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
  • For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
  • For beautiful hair, let a child run his or her fingers through it once a day.
  • For poise, walk with the knowledge you'll never walk alone.
  • People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anybody.
  • First opportunity

This week marks the beginning of almost all the Sankalp volunteer’s first real-life activities. There are 2 activities going on simultaneously. The Project Tiranga volunteers are to start working on “Mission Siachen”, spread the word about Siachen and make and collect as many hand-made postcards as possible, with 26th January as deadline basis. Blood Donation Organization (BDO) volunteers (freshers) would start taking blood requests by accompanying a senior volunteer.

    Grow with Problems...

    No Problem!

Don’t worry if you have problems! Which is easy to say until you are in the midst of a really big one, I know. But the only people I am aware of who don’t have troubles are gathered in little neighborhoods. Most communities have at least one. We call them cemeteries.

If you’re breathing, you have difficulties. It’s the way of life. And believe it or not, most of your problems may actually be good for you! Let me explain.

I wish we had a reset button

How I wish we had a reset buttons for humans too. A chance to do away with all the non-sense that we are into and start clean. After working/studying in electronics for 5 years I have realsied the value of the small humble option - "Reset".

I will soon share more on this. The idea was so engulfing that I though I will shoot a post rightaway.

Others who wish the same, please do comment!

    Action speaks larger then words

All those things that we speak about ourself. Are we true to oneself .It is seen that most people talk a lot about doing this and that but if he himself is unable to implement the thing then those listening to him? Will they be able to do that?

Once it was told to Mahatma's Gandhi's wife that do not take salt . She said that its not possible to do that. Just to prove that she is wrong our Bapu did not take salt for one year before saying to her that she can do it. Talking great things does not makes one great.
