Allow me to come back with a vengeance. Got 10 minutes for your country? If yes, then read; otherwise, choice is yours. YOU say that our government is inefficient. YOU say that our laws are too old. YOU say that the municipality does not pick up the garbage. YOU say that the phones don't work, the railways are a joke, The airline is the worst in the world, mails never reach their destination. YOU say that our country has been fed to the dogs and is the absolute pits. YOU say, say and say. What do YOU do about it?

Our President Dr.Kalam's speech here in Hyderabad..

Why is the media here so negative? Why are we in India so embarrassed to recognize our own strengths, our achievements? We are such a great nation. We have so many amazing success stories but we refuse to acknowledge them. Why? We are the first in milk production. We are number one in Remote sensing satellites. We are the second largest producer of wheat. We are the second largest producer of rice. Look at Dr. Sudarshan, he has transferred the tribal village into a self-sustaining, self-driving unit.

A person who dedicates a part of his/her life for a cause.. The cause of saving precious human life. The cause of the nation.. The cause .. Each one of us is struggling for a better place to live in. A world of our dreams. People ask us why we do so... and what do we reply?? The common reply is to realize our dreams.. When we talk on a Sunday Morning in food court and talk about work, one should not forget the seriousness and the depth that is involved when you are talking about a Blood Revolutions.. Remember People .. revolutions do not come easy.

Yesterday was the disaster day for some any celebration for others. Yes yesterday was the day when first year’s results came out. First time experience of getting results in engineering. I remember all the expressions, behaviors which first year volunteers showed last week. I never thought such smart sincere energetic and fun loving guys would be so much worried about their results. To my wonder after the results were out I came to know that few were anticipating backs also this time.

Jallianwalah Bagh Massacre

Submitted by rajat on
It is many years since that aweful evening. The day when thousands of Indians were slaughtered on a whim of an Imperial general. Jallianwalah Bagh Massacre was the turning point in the freedom movement. The killing of so many innocent people spaked the fire in the hearts of thousands of Indians. Many jumped into the freedom Struggle. Years have passed. Dust has gathered. But we are remembering them. Why? Is it just a small minute of rememberence and is that it? History has always baffled me. What do I learn?
