Events for World Blood Donor Week 2010
World Blood Donor Day is celebrated to create awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation and encourage more people, especially the Youth, to become regular blood donors who donate two or three times in a year. Apart from encouraging people, 14th June is a day when the individuals who have saved lives by donating blood and become super hero are thanked and acknowledged.
Blood Donation Camp @ M S Ramaiah Dental College
On the occasion of the "World Blood Donor Day" the M S Ramaiah Dental College is organizing a blood donation drive. Students, faculty members and other staff of the college will come forward to support the cause of voluntary blood donation. On this day, a free blood group cum haemoglobin check camp will also be oprganised.

Sankalp India foundation in asscociation with M S Ramaiah Hospitals is organising the "Voluntary Blood Donor Week" programmed that M. S. Ramaiah Group of Institutions are Organizing on the occasion of the World Blood Donor Day 2010.
Camp @ MSRIT
Another small blood donation camp collecting around 30-40 units of blood will be held in MSRIT on 29th April 2010.
Blood donation drive @ MSRIT
Sankalp India Foundation conducts regular blood donation drives within the MSR group of institutions. Periodic drives with a collection of 30-40 units enhance the stock positions of Ramiah blood Bank, that is a major hospital and caters to most of North Bangalore requirements. In this regard, a blood donation drive will be held @ MSRIT on 27th April 2010

MSRMBDS is organizing a blood donation drive which will be held in MSR Hotel Management college on Monday (22/12/08) from 10.30 to 1.30.
MSR Institute of Management organizing blood donation drive
Though it is very unexpected at this time of the year, the city is battling shortage of blood. Since past 3 days Sankalp emergency Wing has been receiving blood requests exceeding 10 in number. IN such times the Blood Donation Drive organized by MSRIM comes as a big relief to Bangalore.
33 units of blood were collected as enthusiastic management students came forward readily to contribute their blood.
1st Blood Donation Drive at M.S. Ramaiah Degree College on 31/10/08
The blood donation drive for MSRMBDS was held in M.S. Ramaiah Degree College on 31/10/08 from 11 am to 1:30 pm. This was the first blood donation drive for MSRMBDS from the Degree College.
MSRMBDS Camp at MSRIT
The first camp for MSRMBDS this semester was held on 23/09/08. The number of donations or the units collected were 31. None of the donors were deferred. But, there was one girl who fainted after donating for the first time.
