Asia Pacific Bone Marrow Transplantation Meet was organised at Singapore from 28-30 October 2016. The Sankalp-Cure2Children Network was happy to have 6 of our posters selected to be presented at the meeting. In-line of our commitment to transparency, innovation and quality we continue to scientifically analyse and share our work.
There is a large population suffering from thalassemia and related blood disorders in the developing and under-developed world. While there has been tremendous push to build capacity to treat these patients, there is also an urgent need to move from copy pasting research done in the context of developed world to our settings. The sheer scale presents great opportunity for deeper understanding of both the disease and the treatment.
”We as a team are committed to ensuring that all attempts be made to make treatment less toxic, more reliable and affordable to our children.
