Excitement and secret plannings.. Passing on the some details and maybe polishing the acting and mimicry skills. As and when time permits, the volunteers huddle up or individually can be seen doing this as part of the preparation for WAR OF THE VOLS being organised for first time. And it is the first time which is always the most exciting one and all of us are gearing up for it.
Blood requests are still reaching the Emergency wing when the city has good amount of blood. This called for helpline number 1062 to be publicized and better.
CTC Disha:After the Blood Bank Meet, the phase 2 of Disha Awareness Campaign has begun. Now the other prominent blood banks of the city are being approached to join us in the initiative by providing their blood availability stocks everyday to the helpline and also to spread awareness about this helpline by stamping the blood requisition forms with 1062 number.
There are 2 blood banks which will be joining CTC Disha soon. The stamping of blood requisition forms has been completed in three hospitals (Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, Indira Gandhi Hospital and NIMHANS).
BDO:The number of requests for the month of November till 20th is about 34 requests (including 3 Apheresis requests).
