Proving one's point

I have heard this phrase several times. Mostly from highly ambitious egoistical types (A bit of ego is good enough), but never really understood. I have seen people straining themselves to just prove this thing. I got more confused.

Just few minutes back, I felt as if I understood what it meant.

Pursuit Of Happyness

Sometime I wonder at the relevance of my existence. The reason why I was born.

I have heard about spirituality which talks about the reason of human existence is Nirvana, Moksha, beng one with God etc.

Sometimes I hear of revolutionaries becoming martyrs for the sake of their nation. It evokes deep motivation inside to hear about people like us, who placed everything in their life at stake to work for a single cause, being truthful, being consistent , even die for that cause.

Life is

Life is game: Life plays games with all of us. Some time too slow and some times too fast. Also you never know what there for you next. It keep throwing surprises to you and you keep catching them. Some time you win. Some time you lose.

Life is fast: Some times it too fast to understand it. World will change in front of you before you know. It will not give you time to act.

We strive to realize to our dreams,
we strive follow the path shown to us by world,
We compromise our dreams with reality,
We accept the thing as it comes our way,
We strive hard and efforts to please others,
We strive to keep our dreams alike,
We strive to strike the balance,

Now, It's time for action.

Life keep us teaching lesson on different phase but let not be too late to learn this and commit mistake to learn new one.

Wish I could share their pain...

Recently in a bus accident near Ahmedabad drowned 39 children. There were the future of india. They were most loved for so many. There were the only life's happiness for so many. My eyes gets wet when I am missing my parents. I know, how much pain is it for my parents as their son is away. Its beyond my heart to feel or understand the pains of parents of those kids. When saw the photograph in newspaper, I could not stop my eyes from getting wet. Wish I could share their pain.

The right attitude

There once was a woman who woke up one morning,
looked in the mirror,
and noticed she had only three hairs on her head.

Well," she said, "I think I'll braid my hair today?"
So she did
and
she
had
a
wonderful
day.

The next day she woke up,
looked in the mirror
and saw that she had only two hairs on her head.

"H-M-M," she said,
"I think I'll part my hair down the middle today?"
So she did
and
she
had
a
grand
day.

Cleaners

Submitted by ankita on
Today was drainage cleanup day for my home. Due to some blockage in the system lots of problem was created and cleaning was required. A cleaner was called for this work. I had no idea about thing happening at home before I heard my mother asking everyone not to go use the back door as we may step on dirty things coming out of drains or contact the cleaner himself. Just out of curiosity I went to balcony to see how it is being done and why my mother is banning our free movement inside our own house premises.

The Mussoorie Monsoons

Submitted by rajat on
The summer heat in the plains of North India seems to burn the spirits down. The partched souls run to Mussoorie not just for relief from the heat, but also for a well deserved break. There is a lot of mayhem in town and the streets are over-crowded. The noise in the streets is almost deafening at times. The town of Mussoorie seems to be celebrating a month long festival from May to June. All things that are close to humans, the shops and the tourist destinations, see a never ending trail of visitors.
