A poem written by my 23 year old cousin, Chinmoy a chopper pilot of IAF:
Why do I still serve you?
How you play with us, did you ever see?
At Seven, I had decided what I wanted to be;
I would serve you to the end,
All these boundaries I would defend.
Now you make me look like a fool,
When at Seventeen and just out of school;
Went to the place where they made 'men out of boys'
Lived a tough life …sacrificed a few joys...

The 400 acres that Mamata Banerjee has been crying hoarse about is not the issue. It is not the 997 acres that has been allotted to Tata Motors by the West Bengal government that is the real issue. It is not about the Rs.1500 crore investment that Tata Motors has made for the plant. Nor is this issue about the 56 vendors of Tata Motors that have set up shop around what was to come up as the mother plant for Nano in Singur. It is also not about the Rs 350 crore hit that Tata Motors is going to take if the plant and machinery were to be shifted out of Singur.
Sharing with you something that’s very close to my heart. An experience that has touched my soul...something that whispered again to my mind that ‘angels do exist’.

Many times we come across plastic National flags after the celebration of the National Festivals is over. No one is clear about what to do with them. Here are few suggestions.
If they are in good condition, then they can be preserved for future use. This is specially helpful in case of schools where the teachers can collect the flags and keep them safely.
You might ask me 'who is Abhinav Bindra?'. But honestly I did not know him, until yesterday. His name does not show up on many sports publications or sports sites. However, he is as much an athlete and competitor as anyone who receives attention in those media outlets.
Abhinav is an Olympic gold medallist.
Somewhere in 1990’s when I was hardly 11 years old, I was strongly impressed with the spirit of a village girl named Kalyani. Every time, I saw her, I believed more in dreams, in hard work and determination and in power of the fairer sex. Her courage of taking the road ‘not taken’ and her conviction to sustain against all odds was just too inspiring.
Friends, I would like to share with you a great message given by my teacher from Kalidasa's Shakuntalam 2000 years ago. Look to this day! For it is life, the very life of life. In its brief course, lie all the verities and realities of your existence; the bliss of growth, the glory of action, splendor of achievement, for yesterday is but a dream, and tomorrow is only a vision.
