About Volunteers

A fairly dedicated set of individuals who are striving to bring in a Revolution are who we have as Sankalp Volunteers. All the volunteers are common students and working professionals that each one of us can relate to. We are made of the same fabric as you. The difference is only this: we are trying to change ourselves into individuals who act on their wishes, have the courage of convictions and who can face lot of opposition and problems and get their job done. We are a team that works for a cause which is dear to us.

Should I call them My experiments with the truth?

About three years back I started on a journey. It was a journey whose destination is still not known. I started working for Sankalp. Past three years in my life have been witnessing a constant struggle with inertia.

Not only have I been motivating myself to some extent but also trying to motivate others into breaking free. Truly, as i look back, I don't know how successful or unsuccessful I have been. I have always had faith in change for the better.

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

There was woman who sells milk, curd, butter and ghee. One day she went into a fort for selling ghee. By the time she come back the fort gate was closed. There was no way to go out. Then she remembers her small child who needs to be feeded. She knows there IS no one else to feed the child and she was very much worried. She planned to break the rules and jump the fort wall using her saree and she crossed the fort successfully and milked the child. Next day she was brought to the court and she admitted her crime and explained the reason behind doing so.

I did see the Change

Submitted by Venu on

I did see the change in me. When i saw the people around me cheating in an exam, i did not gossip about it and forgot saying nothing can be done about it. Instead I chose to fight against injustice to me and other good students. This is what happened on 27th March. There was an aptitude test for campus recruitment. There were around 500+ students in a big examination hall and only 5 to 10 invigilators. I was also taking part. What I saw was worst of malpractice. People started answering 15 20 mins before time. They had already answered 20 to 30% of questions.
